WellerU leverages the principles of Behavioral Economics to create a more effective Wellness incentive.  We reviewed over fifty years of incentive-based engagement for Medicaid populations.  Our research clearly indicates behavioral concepts which materially impact effectiveness of Wellness Incentives.

Also called Executive Function, represents the effort to plan and organize a Wellness Visit.  Our process breaks the often confusing healthcare journey into discreet and easy steps.

Cash Equivalence

Cash rewards provide unambiguous value.  Non-cash or use-limited incentives may be valued lower depending on individual preference.  WellerU uses cash denominated Amazon.com electronic gift cards to achieve near-cash basis.

Immediately delivering $1 of incentive reward following the completion of a task is worth $1 to the participant.  People tend to hyperbolically discount delayed rewards.

Skill Gaps

Navigating the healthcare system is complicated.  Some people may not yet have learned the skills to access the incentivized service.  WellerU's app-based tool provides assistance every step of the way to reduce the learning curve and avoid confusion.
